About the company
Rollmex is a contracting company from Gdynia. Since 1989 we have fabricated, installed and overhauled steel structures and equipment for the power, port and process industries.
The core of the company is an experienced team of supervisors and quality controllers, foremen, welders and fitters.
Our longest-serving people worked on the construction of the nuclear power plant in Żarnowiec, on the four 180 MW units of the Żarnowiec Pumped Storage Power Plant and in the four reactor buildings of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant in Hungary.
We specialise in prefabrication of steel structures, pipelines, tanks and silos in carbon and stainless steel. We build, overhaul and modernise power boilers, boiler auxiliaries and fuel installations. Assembly is led by site managers with construction licences, and our crews hold energy-sector qualification certificates.
As a general contractor we carry out mechanical, civil, electrical and I&C works, together with design and permits.
Since 2009 we have also made port crane components – trolleys, machinery rooms, stairs and auxiliary structures – mainly for Konecranes. We have delivered them to terminals in Hamburg, New York, Oslo, Helsinki and Klaipėda, among others.
